Italian coach Alessio Lisci has officially moved on from Osasuna to take the helm at Greek side PAOK Salonika, at the age of 40. Despite being younger than some of his players, Lisci has carved out a successful career in football management. His journey began as a fitness coach at Lazio’s youth academy before relocating to Spain with Levante in 2011, where he progressed through various coaching roles, culminating as head coach in 2021. Lisci's tenure in Spain continued with Mirandes and more recently with Osasuna during the 2025-26 season. His campaign there included 11 wins, nine draws, and 18 losses, narrowly avoiding relegation and sending Mallorca down on goal difference. Despite this effort, he was dismissed from Osasuna. Today marks a new chapter for Lisci in Greece, as he signs a two-year contract with PAOK, succeeding Razvan Lucescu who departed by mutual consent after five years. Lisci joins the ranks of Italian managers making their mark across Europe.
