Atalanta is actively shaping a team in the image of their new manager, Maurizio Sarri. The club aims to bring in players who can thrive in Sarri's preferred 4-3-3 formation. A critical piece missing from the Bergamaschi's lineup is a playmaker. Gianluca Gaetano of Cagliari has been a long-discussed candidate for this role, having impressed under Pisacane's leadership last season. However, Gaetano is not the only player on Atalanta's radar. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mandela Keita is also attracting interest. At Parma, Keita has shown his capability to anchor the defense while also adapting to the role of a mezzala. He is seen as an ideal playmaker for Sarri's three-man midfield, with the versatility to play both as a central midfielder and in a two-man midfield setup. This market idea is certainly one to follow closely.
