Habib Beye has been sacked by Marseille after just over four months in charge. Beye took the helm in February, replacing Roberto De Zerbi, and led the team in 13 matches across all competitions. During his brief tenure, the 48-year-old, who played for Marseille from 2003 to 2007, secured six wins but also recorded two draws and five losses. His side conceded 18 goals while only managing to score seven. When Beye took over, Marseille was in fourth place in Ligue 1, trailing Paris Saint-Germain by 12 points. Ultimately, they finished 17 points behind the champions, ending the season in fifth place and securing a Europa League spot. In an official statement, Olympique de Marseille announced, "The club thanks Habib Beye and wishes him all the best for the future of his career." Reports suggest that Bruno Genesio is set to replace him, having completed his contract with Lille.
