Chelsea is on the verge of signing Crystal Palace center-back Maxence Lacroix, with the deal expected to be finalized for approximately 55 million euros (£47.4m). Lacroix, who played for France in the recent World Cup, is set to bolster Chelsea's defensive line. Meanwhile, Newcastle United has added Borussia Dortmund's German midfielder Felix Nmecha to their shortlist, as they look to strengthen their midfield options this summer.
Arsenal's attempt to acquire Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has faced a setback after Newcastle rejected their £55m offer. Tottenham is reportedly interested in Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky to be their new first-choice goalkeeper, indicating a potential sale of their current Italy keeper, Guglielmo Vicario.
