Algeria's national team goalkeeper, Luka Zidane, has opened up about how he handles the psychological stress of competing in the World Cup 2026. Following a 3-0 loss to Argentina, Zidane revealed that he has been working with a mental coach to transform pressure into motivation. "I'm not putting pressure on myself. What I seek is adrenaline. I started working with a mental coach, something I've never talked about before. For me, it has been life-changing, especially in football. I believe that being mentally healthy is as important as physical fitness today," Zidane told Onze Mondial. Algeria finds itself at the bottom of Group J with no points after the first round. The team's next World Cup match is scheduled for June 23 against Jordan, with kickoff at 6:00 AM Moscow time.
