Real Madrid is reportedly close to activating the buyout option for midfielder Nico Paz from Como for €9 million. Despite the Italian club's desire to retain Paz, they view Real Madrid's set price of €60 million as excessive, according to AS. Meanwhile, Inter Milan is keen on acquiring the Argentine player at any cost. Real Madrid's head coach, José Mourinho, is interested in signing Inter's defender Alessandro Bastoni. Consequently, Paz could play a crucial role in the negotiation to bring Bastoni to Madrid. Inter values the 27-year-old defender's transfer at €70 million. Last season, Bastoni played 40 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists. His current contract with Inter lasts until the summer of 2028, with a market value of €65 million, as per Transfermarkt.
