San Jose Earthquakes are on the verge of signing Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn following his release from Nottingham Forest. The 30-year-old is currently in negotiations with the Major League Soccer club. Meanwhile, Rangers have expressed interest in Bologna's Lewis Ferguson but face a tough challenge as the Serie A club demands a substantial offer for the 26-year-old midfielder. In other news, Rangers are considering raising Nicolas Raskin's valuation to £25m after the midfielder's impressive performances helped Belgium advance to the World Cup last 16. Additionally, Danilo will return to Rangers after NEC Nijmegen opted not to make his loan permanent. Furthermore, Bryan Reynolds, linked with Rangers, is set for a medical at Rennes following a £3.86m move from Westerlo. Former Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor will rejoin the club to coach goalkeepers, replacing Sal Bibbo, who is heading to Coventry City. Lastly, Motherwell's Tawanda Maswanhise is drawing European interest, including from Anderlecht and Celtic, though no formal offers have been made yet.
