Málaga's team bus was targeted by radical Almería supporters, who hurled stones at it upon arrival at the UD Almería Stadium. The attack resulted in several windows being shattered, despite a significant police presence aimed at ensuring the team's safe journey. Due to security concerns, the Málaga delegation remained inside the bus for 51 minutes. Consequently, the match, which is part of the promotion playoff to the First Division, was delayed and rescheduled to kick off at 9:30 p.m.
