Ansu Fati's proposed transfer from Barcelona to Monaco is at risk of falling through due to unresolved salary issues, as reported by Sport. Monaco has agreed to purchase the 23-year-old forward for €11 million, but Fati's salary expectations are causing a delay in finalizing the deal. His current contract with Barcelona includes a pay raise to €14 million per year, a figure Monaco is unwilling to meet. Fati, on the other hand, is reluctant to reduce his salary demands. The player's contract with Barcelona extends until 2028. Last season, Fati was on loan at Monaco, where he scored 12 goals in 30 appearances. According to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €15 million.
