Colombian goalkeeper Devis Vasquez's brief tenure with Turkish club Besiktas has come to an end. Vasquez, who joined Besiktas on loan with an option to buy during the last winter transfer window, will not be retained by the club. Turkish media reports indicate that Besiktas decided against exercising the buy option, leading to the termination of his loan. As of today, Vasquez has left Istanbul, officially closing his chapter with the club. He initially moved to Roma as a free agent last summer and was loaned to Besiktas in search of more playing time. With his return to the Italian capital, Roma will assess his future prospects, potentially seeking another club for him to join in the coming weeks.
