The England national team's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup hit a snag when their football boots were stolen from a van on the way to their training base in Kansas City. The theft, reported by The Sun, also saw other essential items like footballs, training gear, Thomas Tuchel's tactical boards, and massage tables taken during the transport from Florida to Kansas City. England had just completed a successful training camp in Florida, defeating New Zealand, Costa Rica, and the local team Miami United. The team's equipment was sent ahead to Kansas City, where they were set to begin training that afternoon after arriving at their hotel on Saturday morning. England is scheduled to face Croatia in their opening group stage match on June 17.
