Paolo Vanoli is officially no longer the coach of Fiorentina as of today. The club has announced the termination of his contract while they await the arrival of Fabio Grosso. Vanoli's leadership was pivotal in steering the team to safety during a challenging season that seemed dire back in December. "The ownership, management, and all of Fiorentina thank Mister Paolo Vanoli and his entire staff for the professionalism, passion, and courage with which they guided the First Team," the club stated. Players who trained under Vanoli, including Nicolò Fagioli, were quick to express their appreciation on social media. Fagioli wrote, "Eight intense months with a clear objective, during a truly challenging period of the season. Thank you for everything, mister." Fabiano Parisi echoed this sentiment on Instagram, saying, "Thank you for everything, mister," alongside a photo together.
