Real Madrid's president, Florentino PĆ©rez, has no intention of signing Manchester City midfielder Rodri, despite direct contact between the clubs. Journalist Matteo Moretto reported that PĆ©rez does not want to proceed with the transfer. Rodri played 33 matches last season, scoring two goals, with a contract until 2027 and a market value of ā¬50 million.

Florentino PĆ©rez, the president of Real Madrid, has firmly decided not to pursue the signing of Manchester City midfielder Rodri. Journalist Matteo Moretto reported on this development, indicating that despite direct communication between the two clubs, Real Madrid has no plans to acquire Rodri. Moretto stated, "I was told that there was direct contact between Real and City. City knows that Real does not intend to sign Rodri. I was informed that Florentino [PĆ©rez] does not want to sign Rodri, and currently, there seems to be no progress on this matter." Last season, Rodri participated in 33 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals. His current contract with Manchester City extends until the summer of 2027. According to Transfermarkt, Rodri's market value is estimated at ā¬50 million.
