Kristian Thorstvedt, a midfielder currently playing for Sassuolo, has been a topic of discussion for a potential move to Fiorentina, who are seeking midfield reinforcements. However, the Norwegian international has made it clear that his current focus is entirely on the World Cup. In a recent interview, Thorstvedt stated, "Right now, I'm only thinking about the World Cup. There will be time for everything else later. I owe a lot to Sassuolo. I've been here for four years and have become a much stronger player since I arrived. For this, I can only be grateful."

Thorstvedt also shared his thoughts on the recent coaching changes at Sassuolo. His former coach, Grosso, has already transitioned to Fiorentina. "I wish him the best of luck. We've lost a very good coach, but at the same time, another valuable one has arrived," Thorstvedt commented, referring to the new coach Aquilani. "I haven't spoken to him yet; I'll do so when I return. I hope he does a great job and that we can achieve some satisfaction."
