Murad Musaev, head coach of Krasnodar, analyzed the significant loss of the Bulls in the RPL against Dynamo Moscow. The black and greens fell to the white and blues in the 29th round, losing their position at the top of the table, which eventually saw Zenit crowned as champions. "Before this game, there was a dilemma: should we start Douglas in the lineup? After his calf injury, he missed a considerable period. We rushed his recovery. Previously, Augusto played 30 minutes against Dynamo in the Cup. I understood he was not ready, and I brought him on as a substitute in the league. I believe this decision was correct. We did not have issues in the midfield. I have no answer [as to why things went wrong], because the game against Dynamo was generally of decent quality. We took the lead, then conceded a very simple goal, which is not typical for us. Perhaps Nikita Krivtsov lacked the skills of a wide player in that episode. He slightly overlooked Caseres, allowing him to cross. Our two central defenders were slightly mispositioned in the penalty area. Diego Costa should have closed in and helped Krivtsov, but he remained in a half-position. Tormena lost track of Tyukavin. But these are working moments. They happen in every match. One cannot always play perfectly. There were no glaring mistakes. Everything else was under our full control. We created two or three clear-cut chances and had a few more approaches and set pieces from which we could have done more. Of course, in hindsight, you think we could have started Douglas Augusto and Jubal. But I don’t see any global mistakes. We created many chances—they just weren’t converted," Musaev said in an exclusive interview with Championship correspondent Oleg Lysenko.
