• Noa Lang remains central to Napoli's plans.

Noa Lang is starting to rediscover his form at Napoli, having recently secured a starting position in the match against Frosinone and marking the occasion with a goal. This resurgence comes after a challenging debut year in Naples, where the 27-year-old winger struggled, managing just one goal in 27 appearances. His performance last season led to a loan move to Galatasaray, but the change in Napoli's coaching staff has proven beneficial for Lang. Under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, Lang has been given more opportunities to shine, including his recent match against Frosinone, where he found the back of the net. After the match, Lang expressed his relief and satisfaction with his current situation compared to last year, particularly highlighting the difference in communication with his coach. "The biggest difference is that this coach talks to me, unlike the one from last year. He tells me what I need to do, how to position myself on the field. He gives me the freedom to find my own space on the pitch, and that is a significant difference. Allegri really engages with me, in contrast to Conte," Lang stated to the Italian press. Allegri has acknowledged the need to invest time in Lang's development, recognizing the potential that the winger possesses. In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Allegri mentioned, "I try to talk a lot with him. He is someone who has underperformed so far compared to what he is capable of. That is entirely up to him. I often tell him: 'God will help you if you help yourself.' But keep an eye on him; he has immense talent and great potential." Lang’s renewed confidence and improved performance could be pivotal for Napoli as they aim for success in Serie A this season. The team, currently navigating the challenges of league play, will look to capitalize on Lang's contributions as they strive for higher placements in the standings. With Allegri’s support, Lang’s journey at Napoli seems to be on a promising trajectory, and fans will be eager to see how he continues to develop in the coming matches.

What happens next

With Massimiliano Allegri's support, Lang is expected to continue receiving opportunities to prove himself in the starting lineup. As the summer transfer window approaches, Napoli may look to solidify their squad, but Lang's current form could make him a key player moving forward. His ongoing development under Allegri will be crucial for Napoli's strategy in Serie A football.
