PSV Eindhoven has returned to the training ground after a dominant domestic campaign, with Peter Bosz stepping into a challenging preseason. The team faces a fractured preparation period due to the staggered return of players involved in the World Cup and looming transfer movements. On their first day back, only a small group of PSV players participated in training, which focused on medical assessments and tests. This incomplete turnout stems from the club's World Cup participants, as only two of the ten PSV players at the tournament have exited the group stage. Guus Til's journey ended in the round of 16, while Matej Kovár (Czech Republic) and Armando Obispo (Curaçao) were eliminated earlier. These players are expected to join the squad at the training camp in Klosterpforte, Germany, and be available for the Johan Cruijff Shield match against AZ on August 2.
