Paris Saint-Germain's historic win in the Champions League has been overshadowed by a series of tragic events that have shocked France. The Paris Prosecutor's Office confirmed that three individuals lost their lives during the celebrations following the European triumph. Authorities have released new details on two of the victims, both of whom died after falling into the River Seine. The first incident occurred on Saturday night when police were alerted to a man born in Rwanda in 1997 who had fallen into the river in the V arrondissement of the capital. According to investigators, the man reportedly jumped into the water voluntarily. Despite being rescued by firefighters and taken to HĂ´tel-Dieu hospital in critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
The second victim was found dead on Sunday morning near the Louis-Philippe Bridge. Investigators believe the individual fell into the water in the Pont-au-Change area. Despite rapid intervention by rescuers, all efforts to revive the victim were unsuccessful. Investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances of these events.

A third fatality occurred on the Paris ring road, where a motorcyclist died in a road accident during the night. Preliminary reports suggest the accident was facilitated by the removal of some road signs by others present in the area.
Alongside the fatalities, the celebrations were marred by severe disorder in several districts of the capital. French authorities reported numerous incidents of vandalism, looting of businesses, and attacks on law enforcement officers. The clashes resulted in a heavy toll: 890 people were arrested, and 178 security personnel sustained injuries.
