Former Spartak player Evgeny Lovchev provided insight into Krasnodar's future in the RPL in light of potential midfielder Eduard Spertsyan's departure from the club. He stated, "Krasnodar will compete for the championship even without Spertsyan. The owner is involved in all processes, except for training. The club has already reached a certain level. Of course, they need to recruit players, but they will find someone. They took Perrin, who seemed interesting to us, but then he left. Still, acquisitions are necessary because 11 players alone won't suffice," Lovchev said in an interview with Championship correspondent Alexander Ershov. Earlier reports indicated that Spertsyan might transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, with Krasnodar set to receive €25 million for the player.
