As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, national teams are finalizing where they will live and train during the tournament. Each team selects a base camp that includes training facilities and accommodations. With matches spread across three countries, teams will travel to games while remaining based in one primary location. Here’s a list of teams that have reported base camp locations, with additional teams expected to finalize plans ahead of the tournament. In the United States, Ecuador will be based in Columbus, Ohio, utilizing the Columbus Crew facilities. Other teams include Croatia in Alexandria, Virginia, and France in Boston, Massachusetts. In Mexico, South Korea will train in Guadalajara, while Colombia will also be based there. Canada will host Panama in New Tecumseth, Ontario. Base camps serve as a team’s home during the tournament, providing a consistent environment for training, recovery and preparation. Teams often choose locations based on facilities, travel logistics and climate rather than match locations. More teams are expected to confirm their base camps as the tournament approaches.
