Napoli are keen to offload Romelu Lukaku, primarily due to his high salary. The Serie A club has set a minimum asking price of €10 million for potential buyers from MLS, Saudi Arabia, and RSC Anderlecht. Lukaku's previous actions have strained his relationship with the club, especially after he chose to return to Belgium for treatment last season, opting for his personal physiotherapist over those provided by Napoli. Furthermore, the departure of coach Antonio Conte has diminished the reasons for Lukaku to remain at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Napoli is motivated to let him go, as his salary is reported to be around €12.5 million for the remaining year. Despite this, reports from Gazzetta dello Sport and TuttoNapoli indicate the minimum sale price for Lukaku will still be €10 million. It's important to note that Chelsea is entitled to 30 percent of any future sale, provided it exceeds €15 million. While RSC Anderlecht has shown interest, a more likely destination for the 33-year-old striker could be the MLS or the Saudi Pro League. Napoli previously paid €30.7 million to acquire him outright in 2024 after loan spells at Inter and Roma.
