Vinicius Jr., the Brazilian national team and Real Madrid forward, has spoken highly of coach Carlo Ancelotti's role in enhancing the national team's performance. Ancelotti took charge of the Brazilian squad in May 2025. Since his appointment, Vinicius has scored seven goals in 13 appearances for Brazil. "He is one of the best coaches in the world. He understands his players very well and adapts to them excellently. He came here and figured out how we should play," Vinicius told ESPN. Brazil secured seven points to top Group C in the World Cup 2026, advancing to face Japan in the round of 16.
