Andy Robertson continues his professional journey at Tottenham Hotspur. The left back, who departed Liverpool on a free transfer, was also rumored to be heading to Juventus. However, he has chosen to stay in the Premier League as anticipated. After nine years of dedicated service, Robertson recently bid farewell to Liverpool. It was already known that the 32-year-old Scotsman would leave for free, with Tottenham being identified as the most likely destination, which the club officially announced on Friday afternoon. Despite Juventus being mentioned as an alternative, Robertson preferred not to join the Old Lady, particularly after the club missed out on Champions League football. At Spurs, he will join compatriots Micky van Ven and Xavi Simons. Robertson is the first signing for manager Roberto De Zerbi, who took over with eight matches to go in the season and saved the club from relegation. There are expectations that former Feyenoord defender Marcos Senesi will also sign in London soon after leaving Bournemouth.
