June 6, 2026 · Elena Ruiz
Erling Haaland wins the Premier League golden boot with 27 goals, while David Raya and Bruno Fernandes also receive individual awards.
The Premier League season has concluded, and it's time to acknowledge the standout individual performances. Despite Manchester City missing out on the league title to Arsenal, there was still reason to celebrate at Etihad Stadium on the final day. Erling Haaland was awarded the golden boot, having finished the season as the league's leading goal scorer. The Norwegian striker netted 27 goals in 35 matches, outscoring his closest rival, Igor Thiago of Brentford, by five goals. This marks Haaland's third golden boot in four Premier League seasons with City. Only Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah, with four golden boots each, have surpassed Haaland in this achievement. Across all competitions, Haaland ended the season with 38 goals for Manchester City.

In addition to Haaland's accolade, Arsenal's David Raya secured the golden glove award for the most clean sheets. The Spanish goalkeeper recorded 18 shutouts, four more than Manchester City's Gianluigi Donnarumma, making it his third consecutive season winning the award. Meanwhile, Manchester United's captain Bruno Fernandes received the playmaker award, having provided a record 21 assists, surpassing the previous best of 20 set by Thierry Henry and Kevin de Bruyne.
