In a move that straddles the line between genius and provocation, Enrique Riquelme, a candidate for the Real Madrid presidency, orchestrated a bold campaign stunt ahead of the Champions League final involving Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal. Hours before the match, Riquelme had four buses circulate near Budapest's Puskas Arena, each adorned with slogans that seemed to deliver a message to all European clubs participating in the competition. The slogans read, "Enjoy the night, we will return" and "Rivals come and go. Real Madrid returns," highlighting his ambitions should he be elected by the club's members. Notably, Florentino PĂ©rez, the current president, was also in Budapest, invited by UEFA. Riquelme intends to use his presence at the event to hand a dossier to UEFA President Aleksander Äeferin concerning the club's findings on the 'Caso Negreira.'
