Andriy Voronin, the former player for the Ukraine national football team, recently shared a photo on his social media account featuring Fyodor Smolov, the ex-striker of Krasnodar and the Russian national team. In the picture, both Voronin and Smolov are seen smiling and embracing each other. The photo comes from Voronin's personal archive. Smolov is currently participating in a major Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Germany, where Voronin also resides. Voronin played in the Russian league from 2010 to 2014 and is also known for his stints with Mainz, Bayer Leverkusen, and Liverpool. It's worth noting that Russian clubs and national teams have not been allowed to participate in international competitions under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA since February 2022.
