When Antonin Kinsky was substituted after just seventeen minutes against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League, not many expected him to stay at Tottenham. However, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has signed a new contract with the Spurs. March 10, 2026, will be a day Kinsky would like to forget quickly. Within a mere fifteen minutes, he faced goals from Marco Llorente, Antoine Griezmann, and Julián Álvarez. Just two minutes later, he was taken off by then-interim manager Igor Tudor, who did not last long in North London and was soon dismissed during a uniquely miserable season for Tottenham. Roberto De Zerbi was appointed to save the Londoners from relegation and has a clear plan to help the club regain its footing, with Kinsky being a part of that vision. Under De Zerbi, Kinsky was the first choice at the end of the Premier League run-in over Guglielmo Vicario. Recently, Jan Paul van Hecke was also signed from Brighton & Hove Albion for around sixty million.
