In the wake of a significant turnover at Milan, where key figures like Allegri, Tare, Furnali, and Monaca were dismissed after failing to qualify for the Champions League, the club has opted for an internal reorganization. Despite initial plans for a sweeping overhaul, the change became a more restrained restructuring. Ruben Amorim emerges as the sole new addition at Milanello, chosen after several managerial pursuits fell through. Among those considered were Andoni Iraola, who ultimately leaned towards Liverpool after a successful season with Bournemouth, and Mauricio Pochettino, who had discussions with the club, as did former Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner. Ralf Rangnick was approached again for a leadership role in the sporting sector, having been close to joining Milan in 2020. Nevertheless, he chose to continue with the Austrian national team, citing a need for assurances that were not forthcoming during negotiations. Efforts to strengthen the management team also faced setbacks, with Markus Krosche and Timmo Hardung staying at Eintracht Frankfurt due to the club's opposition, and offers to Antero Henrique and Tiago Pinto, currently with Bournemouth, were declined.
