Murad Musayev, the head coach of FC Krasnodar, has shared his perspective on the criticism faced by his players after missing penalties in the Russian Cup final against Spartak Moscow. In a comparison that brings to mind one of football's most memorable moments, Musayev drew parallels with Roberto Baggio's missed penalty in the 1994 World Cup final. "It's your job to find someone to blame and create headlines. It's probably normal that this happens," Musayev stated. "When Roberto Baggio missed his penalty in the 1994 World Cup final, everyone talked and wrote about it. He lives with it to this day. However, before him, Barresi and Massaro also missed their shots, yet Baggio was blamed. I don't want to go down that path. We supported everyone, including Boselli and Lenini, immediately saying that we win and lose together. We didn't look for culprits. I'm sure Boselli wanted to win as much as any other player. But it happens, it just didn't work out. What happened in the press is part of football," Musayev explained in an exclusive interview with Championship correspondent Oleg Lysenko.
