Stanislav Cherchesov Discusses Akhmat's Preparation Plans for 2026/2027 Season

The head coach of Grozny's Akhmat, Stanislav Cherchesov, has shared insights regarding the preparations for the upcoming 2026/2027 season. He emphasized that the work must be conducted correctly, with proper load distribution and organization. The first training camp will take place in Novogorsk. Cherchesov noted that they were supposed to conduct an in-depth medical examination on June 10, but deemed it impractical due to travel delays affecting some players. The first day will feature a light training session lasting 50 minutes in the morning, followed by another similar session in the evening. He mentioned the need for players to acclimate over a day or two before an organizational meeting on June 13. Currently, one new player is training with the team, Alexey Kasadzhikov from Zenit-2 is on trial, and they are expecting another newcomer soon. Cherchesov also indicated that the players who participated in national team duties will join the second training camp. The second and third training camps will be held in Serbia, in Zlatibor, where the team can prepare without distractions. He stated that they have a clear idea of the opposition for friendly matches and praised the club's effective organization of the training camps.
