Marco Tardelli suggests Dusan Vlahovic should make a gesture for Juventus, emphasizing the need to accept a pay cut. Discussions also cover Torino and Sassuolo market dynamics.
Marco Tardelli, the former World Cup champion, has offered advice to Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, urging him to make a significant gesture for the club. In an interview with Tuttosport, Tardelli emphasized the importance of Vlahovic accepting a pay cut, highlighting that the player owes it to the club. Tardelli remarked, "Dusan is indebted. It would be damaging to lose him, but he should accept the salary reduction." Tardelli also mentioned that while Luciano Spalletti is blameless, Juventus' management lacks credibility, passion, and love for the club's colors.

The interview also touched on Torino's affairs, with a headline suggesting that manager Alberto Aquilani is waiting for an opportunity with the club. Although Ignazio Abate remains in the lead, discussions with Torino's management are anticipated. Sassuolo is also reportedly interested in Aquilani, and before any decisions, meetings with Urbano Cairo and Petrachi are expected. Additionally, Catanzaro's sporting director, Polito, is pushing for Aquilani's advancement to Serie A, expressing surprise if it does not happen.
This advice comes at a critical time for Juventus, who are navigating through a period of financial and managerial challenges. Tardelli's comments may influence the direction of Vlahovic's future with the club, as well as impact Torino's managerial decisions.
