Juventus' season ended on a bitter note as they missed out on Champions League qualification, succumbing to Fiorentina. Marco Tardelli highlighted the club's lack of on-field leadership and passion in the management. Despite efforts from players like Vlahovic, the team's performance did not meet expectations.
Juventus concluded their season with a disappointing outcome, losing their grip on Champions League qualification following a defeat to Fiorentina. Marco Tardelli, speaking to Tuttosport, expressed his concern over Juventus' apparent lack of control over their destiny. "Juventus never seemed truly in command of their fate," Tardelli remarked. He attributed their downfall to key missteps and internal issues within the club's management. Tardelli criticized the Juventus leadership for lacking credibility and passion for the club, which he believes has affected the team's overall performance.

Tardelli acknowledged Luciano Spalletti's work with the team, despite recent setbacks that cost them a Champions League spot. He noted that the decline in performance from key players like Yildiz, and even the efforts of Vlahovic, were not enough to secure the desired results. Tardelli emphasized the need for stronger leadership on the pitch and in the locker room, comparing the situation to what Modric achieved at Milan.
The former Juventus player highlighted the absence of a core group of Italian players as a factor in the current team's struggles to establish a strong presence and voice. Tardelli believes that without this solid foundation, it becomes challenging for players to assert themselves and lead effectively.
