
Ural Extends Contract with Croatian Defender Begic

Ural has extended the contract of defender Silvie Begic, who has been with the club since 2022.

Croatian central defender Silvie Begic has extended his contract with Yekaterinburg's Ural. The club's press service announced this via its Telegram channel. Begic has been with the team since September 2022. "We are happy to continue our cooperation, captain!" stated the Ural press service. Begic joined Ural from Kazan's Rubin, with the transfer reportedly costing €0.5 million. In the Russian Premier League, he has also played for Orenburg and Krylia Sovetov. In the last season, the 33-year-old defender scored five goals and provided two assists in 33 matches across all competitions.
