Aleksey Miranchuk, midfielder for Atlanta United, responded to questions about a potential transfer to Zenit during the summer transfer window of 2026. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel Nobel, he was posed a hypothetical scenario: "Imagine it's the summer of 2026. Zenit approaches you in June or July, eager to sign you, with a new limit on foreign players and a lucrative contract offer that exceeds your current salary. Would you consider a move to the RPL this summer?" Miranchuk replied, "No, I wouldn't consider it. I think I would finish my contract and base my decisions on that. I wouldn't want to leave the team during such a challenging time. I would feel wrong for doing so, so I definitely want to at least try to change the situation at the club."
