The 'Casa Cupra Raval' hosted the event '120 Years of Mundo Deportivo, the History of Sports Through Headlines'. The gathering featured sub-directors Fernando Polo and Xavier DĂez, along with product manager Carlos Duart, and was moderated by Barça journalist Laura Aparicio. The special guest was VĂctor Muñoz, one of the most emblematic footballers of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team from the 1980s. During the discussion, Muñoz revisited some of the highlights of his career, including the League title win in 1985 and the unforgettable night against Göteborg, where Barça overturned a 3-0 deficit in Sweden to reach the European Cup final. This feat was immortalized by Mundo Deportivo with a historic front page. Muñoz recalled that he did not participate in the decisive penalty shootout due to complete exhaustion from his immense effort. He also spoke about his debut at Barça, marking Maradona in a tribute to Charly Rexach. True to his competitive nature, Muñoz discussed the physical preparation of that generation. As coach of Zaragoza, he reminisced about the Copa del Rey final won against Real Madrid, 3-2, in 2004. The event also served to present a project that will elevate the legacy of Mundo Deportivo to a new dimension using artificial intelligence.
