Andrey Yeshchenko comments on his future after his contract with Kuban ends, amid the club's licensing troubles.
Coach Andrey Yeshchenko, who was at the helm of Kuban, has spoken about his future in light of the club's issues with obtaining a license to participate in the Second League. Expressing disappointment over the situation, Yeshchenko acknowledged the financial implications, stating that despite not gaining much financially, the club is obligated to fulfill player contract payouts. He believes obtaining the license was crucial to continue participating.

Regarding his future, Yeshchenko confirmed that his contract expired on June 15th, and while discussions with management are ongoing, he anticipates leaving the club. He expressed a desire to continue working and gaining experience, possibly as a defensive assistant to a head coach. Yeshchenko remains open to joining another coaching staff, acknowledging he has much to learn and is not yet at the level of legendary coaches like Romantsev, Gazzaev, or Syomin.
When asked about a potential return to Kuban, Yeshchenko noted that if the team resumes playing, it would be in the Second League 'B', involving extensive travel by bus, which he has had enough of. His comments were reported by Match TV.
