Manchester United is considering signing Scotland's World Cup 2026 goalkeeper Angus Gunn. The club seeks an experienced replacement for Andre Onana and Altay Bayındır.

Manchester United is reportedly eyeing Scotland's national team goalkeeper Angus Gunn as they look to strengthen their squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026. According to The Sun, United is interested in the experienced Gunn, who played in all three of Scotland's group matches against Haiti, Morocco, and Brazil. The club is contemplating this move amid plans to sell current goalkeepers Andre Onana and Altay Bayındır.

Angus Gunn, a 30-year-old free agent after leaving Nottingham Forest, is seen as a potential fit given his background and experience. He was a key player for Scotland during the World Cup and has a history with Manchester City's academy, where he was under the guidance of Jason Wilcox. Wilcox, who is now United's sporting director, played a significant role in Gunn's early development.

This potential signing aligns with Manchester United's strategy to secure a reliable and seasoned goalkeeper, filling a crucial position as they prepare for future competitions, including the upcoming World Cup.
