Rafael Leao has once again hinted at a potential departure from AC Milan, expressing his readiness for a new chapter in his career. Speaking to broadcaster RTP, Leao stated, "At Milan, I've already achieved what I aimed for. In football, you can never say never, but if it happens, I will leave here very happy, satisfied with having helped bring the club to where it deserves to be." This marks the third time in under two weeks that the forward has implied his desire for change while maintaining appreciation for his time with the Rossoneri. Leao further reflected on his journey, noting, "These moments have been very important for me, for my family, and to show once again that a Portuguese player can make a difference." Among his career highlights, Leao praised his former coach Jorge Jesus, ranking him highly, although placing him after Stefano Pioli in terms of impact. "Who would I have liked more as a coach? Jorge Jesus. He was a coach who bet on me. I think he was the best coach I ever had, after Pioli," Leao said. Looking ahead, he expressed his ultimate dream: "Winning the World Cup is every player's dream. Nothing is more important than winning a major competition like the World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo? He's an idol, always will be. He will always be an idol, even for my children, and he is an idol, for example, to my brother." On his relationship with music, Leao shared, "Music is a way to express myself, even to people with other ambitions who want to reach higher levels, achieve great things, without ever giving up on their dreams."
