Genoa is actively working on multiple fronts during this transfer window, with a strong interest in strengthening their flanks. The club's focus has turned to Elliot Stroud, a 23-year-old winger from Mjällby, who has been a standout in the Swedish league in recent years. Stroud's contract is set to expire at the end of 2026, and despite the competition, Genoa appears to be one of the most proactive clubs in pursuing him. Stroud, however, is currently focused on the World Cup, stating, "I am primarily focused on the World Cup. After the World Cup, I will see what happens. Nothing can distract me from this goal. I have asked my agent to contact me only if there are serious situations."
