Valery Kechinov, a former Spartak player, has shared his insights on the future career path of Eduard Spertsyan, the captain of FC Krasnodar. Kechinov opined that Spertsyan, at 25, is too young to consider moving to the Saudi Arabian league. He emphasized that if Spertsyan leaves the Russian Premier League, it should be for one of the top five European leagues such as France or Spain. According to Kechinov, players typically move to Saudi Arabia after the age of 30. He added that it is challenging to assess whether Spertsyan has outgrown the Russian Premier League due to a lack of comparative European competition for Krasnodar. This past season, Spertsyan made 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists. His current contract with Krasnodar extends until the summer of 2029.
