Real Madrid Eyes Calafiori; Tottenham Targets Bremer
June 11, 2026 · Cristina Fernández
Real Madrid, Tottenham, and Manchester United are pursuing various players, including Riccardo Calafiori, Gleison Bremer, and Lewis Hall, while Fulham and Leicester are making managerial changes.
Real Madrid is reportedly interested in Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori, who previously played under Jose Mourinho at Roma. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur is considering Juventus defender Gleison Bremer as a replacement for Argentina international Cristian Romero. Bremer, aged 29, could be a key addition to Spurs' central defense.
On the other hand, Manchester United has shifted its focus from Romero to Newcastle's versatile English defender Lewis Hall. At just 21, Hall is attracting significant attention, and United may face competition from Manchester City, who are also interested in signing Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson. Despite United's interest, City remains the frontrunner for Anderson.

Real Madrid's incoming boss, Mourinho, is also keen on West Ham's Portugal midfielder Mateus Fernandes, with Chelsea expressing interest as well. Manchester United is reportedly exploring a deal for Fernandes, but West Ham is in no rush to sell their prized asset, valued at around ÂŁ80m.
Fulham is considering a move for AC Milan's Nigeria midfielder Samuel Chukwueze, following his loan spell at Craven Cottage. Additionally, the club is evaluating whether to trigger the release clause of Ipswich's head coach Kieran McKenna, as a potential replacement for Marco Silva.
Atletico Madrid is hopeful of luring Bernando Silva from Manchester City, offering him more game time compared to Barcelona or Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Leicester is in talks with former Southampton and Rangers head coach Russell Martin regarding their managerial vacancy after relegation to League One.
